The building on the left here is the Aldrovandi Palace Hotel, where I've stayed on 3 of my trips. It's a very nice, 5 star hotel. The cables above the road are for electric rail cars.
These pictures are from the Borghese park, which is between the Aldrovandi
and the central part of Rome where all of the shops and restaurants are.
It's a pleasant 15 minute walk through the park from the hotel to get dinner
every evening.
